I have been fascinated by the human
body - how it works and how to take care of it, for
as long as I can remember. Largely inspired by my mother, a
therapist and healer, I always knew I was meant to help people heal, and to
connect to themselves in a meaningful way.
I began my career earning a degree in nutritional sciences from Penn State in 2014.
From there I went on to work for a holistic doctor in New York City, where I
expanded my knowledge base with herbal medicine, Ayurveda, homeopathy and more.
During this time I worked one-on-one with patients guiding them on their journey of living into the
healthiest version of themselves.
I needed to continue this path and was feeling called to follow my dream, and move out west.
That's how I landed in Portland, Oregon where I soon found my community at Love Hive Yoga. It was here that I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with the wonderful women who make the Hive a home,
Audra Carmine and Jessica Garay. My teaching style is grounded and
steady, mindful and slow - largely inspired by my Yin yoga teacher, Julie
Baron and yoga therapist, Paleena Moyer. In my classes you are given the
allowance to truly feel what is coming up in your body - physically,
emotionally, and spiritually. I encourage my students to dive deep into the
subtle layers of the mind-body connection to simply notice what is
there - and to cultivate love and acceptance
for whatever arises.
Namasté.
